How to relieve constipation with just 1 ingredient

Constipation is when an individual has difficulty passing stool. This problem can be caused by the slow movement of stool through the colon, causing discomfort and pain. The problem occurs when stool accumulates and becomes increasingly difficult to eliminate.

Raisins are perfect for treating constipation due to their fiber content and laxative capacity. Raisins come in a variety of colors, but black and gold are the most used. Raisins are high-energy, low-fat snacks that can be consumed anytime.

Soaked Raisins:

  • The next morning, consume these raisins on an empty stomach.
  • You can also drink the water in which the raisins have been soaked.

Oatmeal and Raisin Cookies: 

Both raisins and oatmeal are very good for treating constipation due to their high fiber content. So, use cookies to avoid constipation. Consume 3 to 4 cookies a day.

Ingredients:

  • Raisins – 1 cup;
  • Ground oats – 2 ¾ cups;
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp;
  • Cinnamon powder – 3/4 tsp;
  • Butter – 3/4 cup;
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon;
  • White sugar – 3/4 cup;
  • Eggs – 2;
  • Brown sugar – 3/4 cup;
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp;

Process:

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C;
  • Mix butter, white sugar and brown sugar until it forms a smooth creamy paste;
  • Beat the eggs and add the vanilla;

  • Place a few teaspoons of this mixture on cookie sheets;
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes until golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before transferring to another storage;
  • Let cool completely and then consume;
  • Consuming these raisin and oatmeal cookies will help in preventing constipation;

Raisins with other nuts:

 This treatment has a good amount of fiber and a laxative effect on the body that helps in relieving constipation, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of the colon.

Ingredients:

  • Add equal amounts of raisins , prunes, figs, currants, dates and plum concentrate to a blender.
  • Mix them until it forms a thick juice.
  • Store this in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator.
  • Consume 2 to 4 tablespoons of dried fruit mixture once a day to eliminate constipation.

Raisin Yogurt: 

Raisin yogurt is a healthy , inexpensive snack that can be added to salads or granola, etc. They have vitamins and minerals that are very beneficial for many health problems and contain iron , calcium , fiber, potassium and vitamin D which are essential for treating constipation.

  • Just eat some raisin yogurt .
  • Or you can include them in other ways like cutting it into small pieces and adding them to cereal etc.

Raisins with milk:

Ingredients:

  • Raisins – 10 to 12 units;
  • Milk – 1 glass;
  • Pan;

Preparation mode:

  • Wash the raisins and remove the seeds.

  • Let it boil for a few minutes and remove from the heat;
  • Remove the raisins , consume and drink the milk;

  • Add fresh apple juice and small, organic apple pieces ;
  • Mix to make a fine juice;
  • Drink daily to treat constipation;
