Chamomile tea with honey is an excellent home remedy.
Gastritis is inflammation, infection or erosion of the stomach lining.
It can last for a short time, in what is called acute gastritis, or it can last for months and even years ( chronic gastritis ).
Causes of Gastritis
The most likely cause of gastritis is a weakness in the mucosal barrier that protects the stomach wall, allowing digestive juices produced by the stomach to damage the tissue lining the organ.

Chamomile Tea with Honey for Gastritis
Ingredients
Preparation mode
- Add 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile flowers to 1 cup of hot water.
- Cover and let it act for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Strain and then add some honey.
- Drink this tea several times daily for a week.
Note: Do not boil this herb as its active compounds will be destroyed.
2. Licorice root tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) of water .
- 1 tablespoon of licorice roots .
Preparation mode
- Bring the water and roots to a boil for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and keep it muffled for 5 minutes.
- Strain and drink after main meals.
3. Strawberry tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup of hot water
- 1 tablespoon of Dried Strawberry Leaves
Preparation mode
- Add 1 tablespoon of dried strawberry leaves to a cup of hot water.
- Leave to infuse for 5 minutes, then strain.
- Drink 2 or 3 times a day until gastritis symptoms subside.

4. Ginger root tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water .
- 1 tablespoon of Chopped Ginger Root.
Preparation mode
- Add 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh ginger root to 1 cup of boiling water.
- Cobra and let it act for 10 minutes.
- Strain, add honey and drink this tea slowly.
- Drink 2 or 3 times a day for about a week.
- Alternatively, mix ½ tablespoon of ginger juice and honey.
- Take before eating your meal 2 times daily for a week.
- You can chew a small piece of fresh ginger or take ginger capsules to treat gastritis.
5. Rhubarb tea
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon of fresh rhubarb stalks, chopped.
- 2 cups (tea) of water .
Preparation mode
- Boil ingredients for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
- Keep covered until cool.
- Strain and drink 1 cup (tea) in the morning and another at night, before bed.
6. Mint tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) of water.
- 1 tablespoon of fresh mint leaves .
Preparation mode
- Bring the water to a boil and remove as soon as the first bubbles appear.
- Pour into a glass container with the mint and cover for 3 minutes.
- Strain and drink 1 cup (tea) 30 minutes before each meal.
