1. Guaco tea:

Ingredients:

– 200 ml of water;
– 1 spoon of dry guaco.

Preparation mode:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan and add the dry guaco.
  2. Turn off the heat, cover and set aside for approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Then just strain and sweeten with honey.
  4. If you are going to prepare with the plant, use two leaves of the plant for 500 ml of water.

2. Guaco with ginger:

Ingredients:

– Dried or fresh guaco leaves;
– 1 cinnamon stick;
– a lemon with the peel separated from the inner part;
– 1 clove of garlic;
– 1 cup of flaked ginger;
– 500 ml of water.

Preparation mode:

  • Bring the water to a boil with the cinnamon, garlic and ginger.
  • Then switch off and add the lemon and guaco leaves.
  • Leave to infuse for 30 minutes. serve.

3. Guaco with eucalyptus:

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons of guaco;
– 2 tablespoons of dried eucalyptus leaves;
– 1 liter of boiling water.

Preparation mode:

  1. Add the guaco and the dried leaves to the boiling water, cover and let it rest for approximately 15 minutes.
  2. Strain and serve.

4. Guaco with honey:

Ingredients:

– 8 guaco leaves;
– 1 tablespoon of honey;
– 500 ml of water.

Preparation mode:

  1. Bring the water to a boil, then add the guaco leaves, turn off the heat, cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Add honey and serve.

Adverse effects or contraindications of guaco tea  can be nausea, diarrhea and vomiting, this occurs when the dose is exceeded. It is not recommended for pregnant women, as it can have an abortifacient action, nor for those who follow anticoagulant treatments and have liver diseases.
