As a Hair Tonic:  Coconut oil is well known for its penetrating properties as a hair oil that keeps hair nourished and hydrated. When the oil is infused with the nutrients present in curry leaves , vitamin B6 in particular forms a blend that helps strengthen hair roots and shafts while reducing hair loss.

INGREDIENTS:

  • A handful of fresh curry leaves .
  • 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil .

HOW TO APPLY:

  • Pour the coconut oil into a pan and add the curry leaves .
  • Heat the oil until you see a black residue forming around the leaves.
  • Stay a safe distance from the pan while preparing, for safety.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool. Once the tonic is cool, strain it. Now it is possible to apply it to the hair. Gently massage the scalp with your fingertips while applying the oil . Focus more on the roots and ends of the hair. Leave for an hour and then rinse with shampoo.
