5 health benefits of cherry!

Cherries are one of the most popular summer fruits, with around two million tonnes produced worldwide each year! Fortunately, cherries are also wonderful for our health! because it is an excellent source of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.The benefits of cherries are great, which include preventing cancer, helping to relieve pain, slowing down the aging process, among other benefits.

Cherries are rich in keritrin (a flavonoid). Studies have shown that this flavonoid is considered an anti-cancer because it is a potent antioxidant. They also contain ellagic acid (potent anti-cancer and anti-mutagens that eradicate cancer cells in the body) and perillyl alcohol (POH) which is extremely potent in destroying proteins that cancer cells need to grow.
