Clear Urine: If the color of the urine is completely clear, it could be a sign that you are drinking too much water. Contrary to popular belief, there are risks associated with drinking large amounts of water , including the dilution of salts in the body.

In general, if you’re drinking so much that your Urine Color looks like water, you’re probably drinking more than you need to.

Pale Straw/Amber/Honey Urine:  Lighter shades of yellow indicate that the person is well hydrated. But if the Urine Color darkens it could be a sign that you need to refill with fluids.

Brown Urine:  If you notice shades of brown in your Urine Color , it could simply be a sign that you are dehydrated. However, it can also be indicative of a liver problem .

Pink to Reddish Urine: This is usually a warning sign, some foods and substances can cause apink/red Urine Color . But if it occurs due to blood, then it is cause for alarm.

Blue or Green Urine: Diseases such as porphyria (an inherited enzyme condition) can result in a person with blue or green urine color . Sometimes people can urinate in strange colors after eating food with dyes.

It depends on how well the dyes are absorbed by the intestine and how easily they pass into the kidney and make their way out of the GI tract. However, for most people, food coloring doesn’t affect them that much. Likewise, certain medications can also cause changes in Urine Color .
