How sugar helps cancer development
How does sugar help in the development of cancer? Yes, but that’s not all, Sugar can still be much more harmful to our health , check it out. Sugar feeds Cancer , and we ‘ve written several articles about it. It is strange to know that even today this important information is not known to everyone. If a person suffers from this disease, the first step is to take care of the diet . It is crucial to cut Sugar and invest in healthy eating .
However, we have another statement to make: Sugar also produces cancer cells. Otto Warburg, winner of the 1931 Nobel Prize in Medicine, knows more than anyone about the close relationship between Cancer and Sugar .
He concluded: “For Cancer , there is only one noble cause. Summed up in a nutshell, the main cause of Cancer is the replacement of the breathing of oxygen in the normal cells of the body with a fermentation of Sugar .”
In the 1970s, Dr. Linus Pauling (one of the greatest chemists of all time and winner of the Nobel Prize in 1954) discovered that vitamin C helps protect our bodies against disease. And in that research, Dr. Pauling discovered that Sugar does the opposite, that is, it makes healing difficult. Another study, published in 2013 and 2014 in the Journal Of Clinic Investigation, showed that sugar not only feeds cancer cells, but also produces cancer cells.
That’s because this tasty poison is absorbed by the body in a different way than any other food. The reaction is chaotic and produces free radicals , which damage cell structure until tumors form. Researchers at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Utah were the first to discover that sugar “feeds” tumors.
In an article published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Don Ayer, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Oncology Sciences at the University of Utah, said: “It has been known since the 1920s that cancer cells use much more glucose than than normal cells. Our research helps show how this process occurs and how it can be stopped to control tumor growth.”
Dr. Thomas Graeber, professor of molecular and medical pharmacology, investigated how glucose metabolism affects the biochemical signals present in cancer cells.
In research published in the journal Molecular Systems Biology, Graeber and his colleagues demonstrated that glucose starvation, that is, the act of starving cancer cells of glucose, activates a significant metabolic amplification circuit that leads to the death of these cells.
The elimination of sugar , therefore, and everything that turns into glucose in the body (such as bread , pasta , rice ) could be something to be adopted in an attempt to improve the results of cancer treatments . Increased insulin levels are pro-inflammation and pro- cancer and can promote tumor cell proliferation. Therefore, the less sugar you ingest, the more chances you are giving your body to function properly.
