Difficulty Planning or Solving Problems: In the early stages of dementia , some find it difficult to make plans or try to follow through on plans. Others have difficulty trying to work with numbers, a general decrease in the ability to focus can be an early sign of dementia.

Mood : People who develop dementia often become depressed for short periods of time, they may experience a change in personality or mood. Seeing a drastic change in someone’s mood or behavior could be a sign that your judgment is deteriorating.
