What is Modafinil for: Modafinilis indicated in the treatment of excessive sleepiness associated with conditions such as narcolepsy, where the person sleeps even during a conversation or during a work meeting, for example, although it can also be used in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea , idiopathic hypersomnia , sleep disturbances caused by shifts. Its use should only be done under medical supervision.

Modafinil Side Effects: The most common side effects of Modafinil include headache, upper respiratory tract infection, nausea , vomiting , nervousness, anxiety ,  or insomnia . Cases of aggressive behavior and suicidal thoughts are also reported. Its long-term use can cause addiction, dependence and doping.

In case of an allergic reaction from Modafinil , symptoms such as spots on the skin , itching on the body, sores on the skin , blisters on the skin or in the mouth, swelling of the lips, eyes or throat, shortness of breath, difficulty in swallowing or hoarseness may arise if this occurs with the use of Modafinil should go to the emergency room immediately.

Contraindications for Modafinil: Modafinil shouldnot be used without medical advice, but pregnant women, hypertensive patients and people with heart problems should stay even further away from the drug.
