Because it is a highly contagious disease, close physical contact with infected people and during the incubation period of the disease should be avoided. Avoiding closed places and large agglomerations also greatly reduce the risk of infection.

Measles  Treatment : Measles treatmentis done with the aim of controlling or reducing the patient’s symptoms. As the disease is self-limiting, that is, it disappears by itself from the body over the days, treatment should be based on rest, intake of plenty of fluid and a diet filled with light foods.

It is also recommended to clean the eyes  and wounds with warm water, in addition to taking antipyretic drugs to reduce the patient’s fever  and body temperature. The treatment must be followed strictly, until the symptoms disappear, to avoid further complications caused by the disease.
