1. Foods to avoid:

If you’re trying to whiten your teeth, avoid foods like dark chocolate, stews, tomato sauce, beets, blackberries, and soy sauce. The same for beverages, coffee, tea, soft drinks and red wine.

2. Sodium bicarbonate:

Baking soda is used to clean and whiten stains, so teeth appear whiter; it can cause tooth sensitivity, so you should only brush your teeth with this compound once a week.

3. Hydrogen peroxide:

A maximum of 10 volumes of hydrogen peroxide can be used ; just brush your teeth as usual and then rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide for 10 seconds, it whitens your teeth. It is recommended that it be done once a week and before going to bed, at night.

You can also dip a cotton swab in hydrogen peroxide  and rub it on the surface of your teeth; it does not enter the spaces between the teeth but can increase the whitening of the visible surfaces of the teeth. Use once a week to not damage tooth enamel.

4. Lemon with salt:

The acidity of lemon makes it the perfect ingredient to remove stains from teeth. Make a paste with lemon juice and a pinch of salt and rub your teeth with this mixture to eliminate dark spots.

The downside is that it should not be used frequently, because the acidity can also damage the enamel of the teeth, it is ideal to use it once a week.
