In addition, castor oil strengthens the cuticle and contains vitamin E , an antioxidant that inhibits the negative effects of free radicals on the hair roots and scalp. Homemade shampoo for hair growth:
Ingredients:
– 1 cup (tea) of aloe vera gel/drool ;
– 1 tablet of coconut soap;
– a cup (tea) of bee honey;
– 3 tablespoons of castor oil ;
– 1.5 liters of filtered water .
Preparation method:
- Cut the soap and put it on the fire with the water (use a stainless steel, glass or agate pan; do not boil in an aluminum utensil).
- When it is diluted, remove from the heat and add the honey.
- Then, wait for it to cool and add the aloe vera and castor oil .
- Mix well and the shampoo is ready to use.
- Transfer to a clean, empty shampoo or conditioner bottle.
- Use it twice a week.
For safety, before the first application, do a test to see if there is an allergic reaction: apply a little on the skin and wait a few minutes. Also, if no irritation occurs – which it possibly will, you can use it with ease.
