Its application to the hair is very popular, being widely used to combat hair loss and moisturize the strands. In addition, castor oil strengthens the cuticle and contains vitamin E , an antioxidant that inhibits the negative effects of free radicals on the hair roots and scalp. Therefore, the oil stimulates hair growth and is rich in ricinoleic acid, which has antifungal properties and helps in preventing dandruff .
