Hairy Black Tongue Signs and Symptoms: The classic signs and symptoms of hairy black tongue is the appearance of a black spot on the surface of the back of the tongue, but it can also present a velvety sensation in the mouth due to the growth of the papillae, Halitosis ( bad breath ), metallic taste, choking sensation, nausea and taste change.
Treatment for Black Hairy Tongue: Although the pathology appears to be serious, it is considered harmless and temporary, it is usually just to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing well or teeth and tongue and avoid factors that contribute to the appearance of the pathology. However, it is recommended to seek a doctor and / or dentist for guidance and or proof of diagnosis.
Although this condition is not a very serious condition or disease, it can be easily avoided by exercising some basic dental care because, as they say, prevention is always better than life-threatening cures.
There is a simple technique that is an effective remedy, to get rid of black tongue. Take small pieces of thin pineapple slices and slowly absorb the juice from each piece of pineapple , placing it on the back of the tongue.
Put it there for about 40 seconds and then chew it. Repeat the process with the remaining slices twice a day for a week. It is an effective way to cure black tongue.
