Get rid of dandruff once and for all with these home remedies.  These methods are very effective and have excellent results. In addition, dandruff is a skin condition that affects the scalp and hair, causing gray or white flakes to appear. These flakes are actually old skin cells from the scalp that are shedding at a much higher rate than normal.

Tea Tree essential oil: Tea Tree essential oil is a strongnatural antiseptic and therefore can be used to treat dandruff . You can mix a teaspoon of this oil with a cup of hot water and then pour the mixture into a spray bottle. After washing your hair, spray this solution all over your head, massage and after a few minutes, dry off excess moisture with a towel.

White vinegar: Vinegar has acetic acid, which makes the “environment” of the scalp unsuitable for the growth of bacteria or fungi. Take one part vinegar and mix it with three parts water. Use this mixture after washing your hair with shampoo and then rinsing with water. You can even apply vinegar directly to your hair and then wrap it in a towel and leave it overnight. In the morning, wash your hair with your normal shampoo. This can control dandruff a lot.

Olive oil: If your problem is due to dry scalp, you can use olive oil, which is an excellent moisturizer. Just heat a little oil until a little hot. Then use it to massage your scalp and then wrap a towel around your head for half an hour. Finally brush your hair carefully to loosen flakes from the skin and then wash your hair with your normal shampoo.

Lemon: Lemon contains acids that can get rid of the dandruff -causing fungi. Take fresh lemon juice and use it to massage your scalp. Let it rest for a few minutes and then wash your hair with shampoo, followed by a conditioner. Repeat this remedy daily until your dandruff disappears.

Baking Soda: Fungi that cause overactive dandruff can be controlled with baking soda. To get rid of dandruff , wet hair and then rub some baking soda on the scalp. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes and then rinse your hair with water only; Do not use shampoo. With repeated use of baking soda, the scalp will soon start producing natural oils. Thus, the scalp will not have dry scales. Alternatively, you can add some baking soda to regular shampoo.

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera has antibacterial and antifungal properties that can help control dandruff . You can apply fresh aloe juice or aloe vera gel directly onto the scalp a few minutes before taking a shower. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Repeat this remedy daily until your dandruff problem is under control.
