Cicloprimogyna is a drug intended for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to relieve symptoms associated with menopause. It is also used to treat menstrual cycle changes . Cicloprimogyna also acts to combat cysts , making the cysts  can be eliminated during menstruation , instead of proceeding with an extraction surgery. Talk to your doctor to get more information about the action of the product and its use.

Hormone regulation therapy is something that many women need, which is why there are several drugs developed to help with this process, such as Cicloprimogyna .

Indications:

Cicloprimogyna is indicated for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for the treatment of signs and symptoms of estrogen deficiency due to natural menopause or hypogonadism, oophorectomy or primary ovarian failure in women with an intact uterus  , control of menstrual cycle irregularities , treatment of amenorrhea primary and secondary.

How to use:

To start using Cicloprimogyna , if you are still menstruating, you must start Cicloprimogyna treatment on the fifth day of your menstrual cycle , noting that the first day of your menstrual cycle corresponds to the first day of menstrual bleeding. Follow your doctor’s advice for starting treatment if you are not menstruating, or if your menstrual cycles are very irregular.

The Cicloprimogyna pack contains 21 tablets, arranged in numerical sequence and colors. Take 1 tablet of Cicloprimogyna   daily, starting with the number 1 (white) pill marked below the word “Start” and continue taking one pill daily, following the direction of the arrows until you take the last pill (reddish-brown). Once the 21 days are complete, take a 7-day break.

Take  Cicloprimogyna tablets whole, with a small amount of liquid, without chewing and preferably at the same time of day. During the break interval, a few days after taking the last pill, menstruation-like bleeding usually occurs .

After this 7-day interval, restart treatment with a new pack of Cicloprimogyna , regardless of whether the bleeding has stopped or not. Note that the start of each new pack will always be on the same day of the week as the previous pack.

How it works:

Cicloprimogyna is composed of two different types of hormones , which are levonorgestrel (which is a progestin) and estradiol valerate, which work by replacing the hormones that the body stops producing.

Estradiol is a hormone that works by preventing and relieving symptoms caused by menopause, such as feelings of heat, irritation, sleep disturbances, headaches, vaginal dryness and others. Levonorgestrel, on the other hand, works by preventing the thickening of the inner layer that lines the uterus from occurring .

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
  • Vaginal bleeding of unknown cause;
  • Presence or suspicion of breast cancer;
