Buscapan – what is it for and how to use it?

Buscopan drops:

  • The dose must be administered orally, and the drops can be dissolved in a little water.

  • Adults and children over 6 years: 20 to 40 drops (10-20 mg), 3 to 5 times a day.
  • Children between 1 and 6 years : 10 to 20 drops (5-10 mg), 3 times a day.

  • 3 months: 1.5 mg per kilogram of body weight per dose, repeated 3 times daily
  • 3 and 11 months: 0.7 mg/kg/dose, repeated 3 times daily.
  • 1 to 6 years: 0.3 mg/kg/dose to 0.5 mg/kg/dose, repeated 3 times daily.

Contraindications of buscopan:
