Broccoli sprouts – what is it, benefits and side effects!

Broccoli sprout is a young broccoli plant. Compared to ripe broccoli, it has much more sulforaphane which is a chemical compound that has numerous health benefits. Broccoli sprouts or extracts are used as a remedy.

Broccoli sprouts are consumed orally for asthma, cancer , allergy and stomach ulcers caused by the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. In addition, its extract is used on the skin to prevent sunburn .

When taken orally, as it reduces the ability of H. pylori to infect the stomach . It also appears to reduce the release of proteins that cause stomach bloating . When applied to the skin , broccoli sprouts increase the amount of protective proteins in the skin .
